Full move

Tomorrow's comic will be the last that I post to SmackJeeves. After that I'll post solely to the official MotW site @ Jehovah.teaches-yoga.com

Changes

Hopefully the next comic (due next week, barring baby business) will be done with the Wacom.. but I still have to adjust to using it.

I went back and changed that nonsensical Zen Patience comic. I fixed it by making it even more irrelevant.

I'm also thinking of tweaking a few of the others. Oftentimes stuff I make goes online before it's ready for prime time because I'm incredibly lazy and impatient.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Linux, Life and Wacom

I've been rebuilding my home computer network for the last 2 weeks. I've got my media server working for the most part without having to reinstall. The box is running Ubuntu Studio 7.10 so tomorrow I'll be moving up to Hardy Heron. I also install the Gutsy Studio on my R52 thinkpad. I set up a dual boot on my work laptop, XP and Kubuntu (though I need to get around to getting the wireless drivers working on that)

The reason this network rebuild is of note here is that I am finally setting up a dedicated media workstation. I recently purchased a Wacom tablet which I am eager to start using, but even though I got it working on my Ubuntu Studio thinkpad I want to use it with Photoshop on my new windows media workstation. The Wacom tablet means that I will be churning out crappy comics straight up digital yo. No more drawing on paper with archaic pencil and paper from the last century.

Also, if I stop making comics anytime in the next week or two.. it's probably because I'm busy becoming a father or something.

Swing and a miss

Sometimes, you're doing something and suddenly you realize you don't know what it is you are doing. Working on the new strip was a lot like that..

The Worm

Sometimes, we are shocked by the absolute horror of non-euclidean geometry. Other times, the Circus moves by rail.
