Linux, Life and Wacom
I've been rebuilding my home computer network for the last 2 weeks. I've got my media server working for the most part without having to reinstall. The box is running Ubuntu Studio 7.10 so tomorrow I'll be moving up to Hardy Heron. I also install the Gutsy Studio on my R52 thinkpad. I set up a dual boot on my work laptop, XP and Kubuntu (though I need to get around to getting the wireless drivers working on that)
The reason this network rebuild is of note here is that I am finally setting up a dedicated media workstation. I recently purchased a Wacom tablet which I am eager to start using, but even though I got it working on my Ubuntu Studio thinkpad I want to use it with Photoshop on my new windows media workstation. The Wacom tablet means that I will be churning out crappy comics straight up digital yo. No more drawing on paper with archaic pencil and paper from the last century.
Also, if I stop making comics anytime in the next week or two.. it's probably because I'm busy becoming a father or something.
